《红岩》这本书主要写了1948年重庆解放期间，地下党的工作人员与敌人之间的斗争。书中的人物生动形象，个性鲜明。如书中，江姐协助战友越狱，毅然走上刑场，为了战友们，为了党和人民的解放，她不惧死亡，视死如归的精神值得我们学习，还有许云峰，当他得组织被叛徒出卖后，他首先想到的是自己的同志，而不是自己，以及可怜瘦小的小萝卜头，热爱工作的作文成岗，凶狠的叛徒浦志高等许多人物，都给我留下了深刻的印象。

书中的场景也给我留下了很深刻的印象，如环境恶劣的中美合作所，地下党创立的沙坪书店以及阴森恐怖的白公馆等很多地方。尤其是中美合作所，给我的印象最为深刻，敌人用尽各种残酷刑法，但是对于革命烈士来说，却无济于事。最后，敌人甚至炸掉整个重庆，但在战士们的努力下，敌人始终以失败告终。
