It sees small locust, ask small locust to become its friend, small locust agreed. But the little brother of small locust goes lost, it must look for the little brother. The day is black see not clear way, small locust asks firebug to help it illuminate according to the road, go looking for a little brother together. Firebug feels troublesome however, drop small locust a person flew away. Later, firebug sees small ant again, ask small ant to become its friend, small ant also agreed, but should remand the thing first. The day is too black, small ant got lost, ask firebug to help it illuminate according to the road. Firebug is not willing, write a composition again oneself flew away. Finally, firebug or a friend were not found.
萤火虫非常羡慕别人有许多朋友一起玩，可它一个朋友也没有。于是，它提着小灯笼去找朋友。它看见小蚂蚱，请小蚂蚱做它的朋友，小蚂蚱答应了。但小小蚂蚱的弟弟走丢了，它得把弟弟找回来。天黑看不清路，小蚂蚱请萤火虫帮它照照路，一起去找弟弟。萤火虫却觉得麻烦，丢下小蚂蚱一个人飞走了。后来，萤火虫又看见小蚂蚁，请小蚂蚁做它的朋友，小蚂蚁也答应了，但要先把东西送回家。天太黑，小蚂蚁迷路了，请萤火虫帮它照照路。萤火虫不愿意，又作文自己飞走了。最后，萤火虫还是一个朋友都没有找到。
