我家对面就是人民公园，每年四五月百花盛开的季节，爷爷都会带我去欣赏他们争奇斗艳的样子，其中我最喜欢的是牡丹花，因为那时的牡丹开得最艳丽，而且爷爷还告诉我，牡丹花是我们的国花。

牡丹花比我平时见过的花都要大，最大的展开来有排球那么大，最小的也跟盘子一般大小。它的颜色有很多种，有热情似火的红色，有美丽轻盈的粉色，有秋高气爽的金黄色，还有生机勃勃的豆绿色，我最喜欢粉红色的，因为它看起来非常满分/娇艳，一朵朵盛开的花朵像一个个害羞的小姑娘。

牡丹的花瓣有很多层，一阵风吹来，一层一层的花瓣开开合合，好似五彩缤纷的裙摆随风飘动。被花瓣包裹着的那金黄色的花蕊，散发出诱人的香气，每次走进公园，我都能循着那一缕缕清香找到开得最鲜艳的一朵牡丹花，在碧绿色的叶子衬托下，显得它更加高贵了。
